From Canberra to Adelaide

We’re back in the City of Churches and couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
What initially looked like a big agenda turned into a smooth and successful process—with every task completed, plus a few bonus wins along the way.

The TPI Federation had strong attendance, with representation from SA, NSW, WA, QLD, TAS, Townsville, and Newcastle sub-branches (hope I haven’t missed anyone!). The Acting TPI Federation President provided clear direction during the meetings, setting the stage for the newly elected President (from September) to continue developing a productive and purposeful Federation.

Positive discussions were also held with the Victoria and Geelong sub-branches about rejoining—an encouraging sign of national unity. As a nationwide organisation, we encourage all states and branches to remain engaged and involved in shaping our future.

The agenda was packed with important topics—too many to cover here—but if you’d like to follow up on anything specific, feel free to reply to this DM or email Matthew at secretary@tpi-sa.com.au. I’ll get back to you within a few days.

Looking ahead to September, we anticipate some movement within each state and territory, as well as within the Federation itself. Rest assured, there will be full consultation with all parties to ensure we move forward in the best interests of all our members.
