Advocacy
Defending the rights of members and advocating on their behalf to policymakers and government departments on matters that affect them.
TPI-SA is one of the original Ex-Service Organisations in Australia and originate here in South Australia. We have been providing sanctuary to those who have served and been forever affected by their injuries. We now would like to support all veterans with a keen interest in assisting those members who have or will medically separate from the defence force due to injuries.
Currently our team have, or are, undertaking the DVA Advocacy Training and Development Program (ATDP), which offers nationally accredited training in military advocacy and support. It ensures that advocates meet national standards before they give advice to the veteran community. Once qualified, our Advocates can advise and support veterans in making applications for compensation and can help them to obtain all their entitlements and connect with government and community-based services and support.
Our volunteers have invested a great deal of time a dedication to provide the very best advocacy to members claims and the general welfare of our veteran community. Our advocates are both male and female with diverse military backgrounds representing all services, at all ranks. All of our current volunteers are members who are injured due to their service. They are unpaid however driven to make change and dedicate their time to assisting current and ex-serving ADF members.
TPI-SA is providing advocacy free to all of its members. Becoming a member today will ensure that those who will come after will have access to the best possible advocacy and services for years to come. To find out more and to see your eligibility membership please click the link..
