Whilst our first day in Defence is an anxiety provoking adventure into the unknown, the doubt of ‘will I be tough enough’ for recruit/officer training and the demands of service life, rarely do we anticipate how tough entering civilian life again can be. Leaving Defence can be isolating, particularly if most of your friends are still in service. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to, someone who’s walked a similar path and can relate to what you’re experiencing.
Throughout the year, TPI-SA provide plenty of ways for you to connect with other members of our Defence family. From the many social activities we offer, to social connection through general meetings and volunteering, there’s something to suit everyone.
